The Crescent Dermatology Association’s Annual Conference, co-chaired by Dr. Neelam Khan and Dr. Mahin Alamgir Rao, brings together dermatologists, trainees, and industry partners for a dynamic day of education, innovation, and meaningful connection in a welcoming, family-friendly environment. Our faculty represents a wide range of subspecialties and perspectives, offering both clinical depth and real-world insight into how dermatology is practiced, taught, and built today.

Beyond the CME experience, the CDA weekend is designed to be inclusive, warm, and community-driven. Neelam Khan, MD
Dr. Neelam Khan is a dermatologist and Founder of Neely Dermatology & Aesthetics in Washington, DC. She completed her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate and is recognized as a Washingtonian and Castle Connolly Top Doctor.

Zain Syed, MD
Dr. Zain Syed is a dermatologist at Skin Care Specialty Physicians in Lutherville, Maryland. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Maryland, where he served as Chief Resident, following a clinical research fellowship in photodermatology at Henry Ford Medical Center.​

Mohiba Tareen, MD
Dr. Mohiba Tareen is a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon, as well as the Founder and Medical Director of Tareen Dermatology. She specializes in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology and leads a multi-location practice serving patients across Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Noreen Galaria, MD
Dr. Noreen Galaria is a dermatologist fellowship-trained in laser medicine and cosmetic surgery. She graduated first in her class from Jefferson Medical College and has served on the faculty at the University of Rochester and University of Utah. Dr. Galaria provides comprehensive medical and aesthetic dermatology services at Galaria Plastic Surgery and Dermatology in Northern Virginia.

Babar Rao, MD
Dr. Babar Rao is a dermatologist and founder of Rao Dermatology, with practices in New York, New Jersey, and California. An international authority in dermoscopy, dermatopathology, and Mohs surgery, he has over 20 years of experience and is widely published in the field.

Imran Aslam, MD
Dr. Imran Aslam is a dermatologist with US Dermatology Partners in Centreville and Fairfax, Virginia, specializing in medical, cosmetic, and skin cancer treatments. He completed his dermatology residency at Howard University Hospital where he served as Chief Resident.

Omar Ibrahimi, MD
Dr. Omar A. Ibrahimi is the founding medical director of the Connecticut Skin Institute, specializing in skin cancer treatment, Mohs surgery, and laser and cosmetic dermatology. He completed his MD-PhD at New York University, dermatology residency at Harvard Medical School, and fellowship training at UC Davis.

Sadaf Hussain, MD
Dr. Sadaf Hussain is a dermatologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Instructor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. She completed her residency at Sidney Kimmel Medical College and a fellowship in pediatric dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Aamir Hussain, MD
Dr. Aamir Hussain is a dermatologist practicing adult and pediatric dermatology at Galaria Plastic Surgery and Dermatology in Northern Virginia. He completed his dermatology residency at Georgetown University and has a clinical interest in patch testing for allergic skin reactions.

Aisha Sethi, MD
Dr. Aisha Sethi is a dermatologist at North Suburban Dermatology Associates and Adjunct Associate Professor of Dermatology at Yale University, where she directs the Yale Dermatology Global Health Program. She completed her dermatology residency at Yale, and has a special interest in global health and volunteerism.

Adnan Mir, MD
Dr. Adnan Mir is a dermatologist, dermatopathologist, and pediatric dermatologist at Dermpath Diagnostics. He completed his dermatology residency as Chief Resident and a dermatopathology fellowship at New York University, as well as a pediatric dermatology fellowship at Lurie Children’s Hospital/Northwestern University.

Osama Hashmi, MD
Dr. Osama Hashmi is a dermatologist and Chief Medical Officer and co-founder of Impiricus, a healthcare technology company improving physician-pharma engagement. He served as Chief Resident in dermatology at Emory University and currently practices in Atlanta, GA. ​

Zaidal Obagi, MD
Dr. Zaidal Obagi is a dermatologist. He trained in dermatology at Banner University/University of Arizona College of Medicine. He currently practices at ZO Skin Centre in California.

Saif Syed, MD
Dr. Saif Syed is a dermatologist specializing in Mohs micrographic and dermatologic surgery, practicing in Maryland since 2004. He trained at the University of Cincinnati and serves as volunteer faculty with the University of Maryland Department of Dermatology and the VA Medical Center in Baltimore.

Aisha Mumtaz, MD
Dr. Aisha Mumtaz is a dermatologist and ophthalmologist at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where she leads a specialty clinic for oculocutaneous diseases. She earned her medical degree from the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

Irfan Galaria, MD
Dr. Irfan Galaria is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with expertise in cosmetic and skin cancer surgery. He completed his medical and MBA degrees at Jefferson Medical College and Widener University, followed by surgical training at the University of Rochester and a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Utah.

Iltefat Hamzavi, MD
Dr. Iltefat Hamzavi is a dermatologist at Hamzavi Dermatology and senior staff physician at Henry Ford Health System, specializing in pigmentary disorders, hidradenitis suppurativa, and photomedicine. He completed his dermatology residency at Wayne State University, followed by a laser and photomedicine fellowship at the University of British Columbia.

Adel Haque, MD
Dr. Adel Haque is a dermatologist practicing in Philadelphia with expertise in complex medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic procedures. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of South Florida. Dr. Haque is an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania.

Nader Aboul-Fettouh, MD
Dr. Nader Aboul-Fettouh is a dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon. He trained in dermatology at UT-Health Science Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center, followed by a fellowship in Mohs surgery and cutaneous oncology at Mayo Clinic. He currently practices at Blue Ribbon Dermatology in Texas.
